You may now use your Mondo.
To discover all the functions of your Mondo and know how to use them, see the
table of contents or go directly to the sections of this manual which follow.
Opening / closing the Telephone application
To open the Telephone application:
Ø Press again (briefly) on the program button .
If your PIN code is requested, enter it, then tap on the Validate function key.
If you wish to close the Telephone application:
Ø Press for a long time on the program button situated in the lower part of
your Mondo.
Standby / reactivation of the screen
If you wish to put the screen of your Mondo on standby:
Ø Press the button situated in the lower part of your Mondo.
WARNING: The applications opened remain active, even when the screen of your Mondo
is on standby. Don’t forget to close the Telephone application in places where it is
requested that mobile telephones are switched off (such as aircraft, hospitals, etc.).
To reactivate the screen of your Mondo:
Ø Press once more on the button .
Location and time zone
A town will be selected by default. Its name will appear in the first field.
If this town corresponds to your country or your region, just tap on the Next key at the
bottom of the screen to validate the selection.
If not :
1- Tap with your stylus on the arrow at the right hand edge of the Town field to
display the list of towns.
2- Tap and hold your stylus on the up or down black arrows to scroll through the
list of towns.
3 - Tap on the town which corresponds to your country or your region.
The time zone of the selected town will be displayed automatically in the lower field. You
do not have to change it.
4- Tap on the Next key at the bottom of the screen.
5 - To quit, tap with your stylus on any zone of the screen.
The screen saver for the Telephone application will appear (for more details about this
screen, see page 25).
PLEASE NOTE: If your SIM card is protected by a PIN code, the message Enter the PIN
code: will appear on the screen before the Telephone application is opened.
In this case you must :
a- Enter your PIN code using the alphanumeric keys of the virtual keyboard.
b- Then tap on the Validate function key (for more details about the PIN code, see
page 10).
