INSPECTION AND REPAIR
Cylinder head
(1) Inspection
Check the gasketed surface
of
the cylinder head for
flatness
by
using a straightedge and thickness
gauge
as
in the case
of
checking the crankcase surfaces. This
check is
to
be made with the precombustion chamber
jets removed.
Use
a surface grinder
to
reface the cylinder head,
as
necessary,
to
the specified flatness.
